Who loves public speaking the most?

The answer to the above question is, undoubtedly, the Forensics team!

You may have heard of Forensics, the art of public speaking. The season is occurring right now! This year, Franklin’s Forensics team has 37 people in a number of categories, from demonstrative speaking to storytelling. Almost every Saturday, the team goes to different high schools and colleges to perform their forensics piece in front of judges. The best speakers in the first 3 rounds move up to the final round, the power round. Those who placed in 3rd, 2nd or 1st place are awarded a trophy. A medal is awarded to the other finalists.

Next tournament will be at UW-Whitewater on February 24th. It will be challenging, but the team is confident that they will do great.

Congrats to everyone on the team! We wish you the best of luck for the rest of the season. Keep it up!
