The Varsity girls had a rough day at the Eagle Invite…Humidity was 100% and the girls had a busy week with homecoming activities and hard workouts. Allie and Melanie were able to stick with the team’s race plan for 2 miles until they looked fatigued but most of the other girls looked tired from the start. Considering the 2nd mile is 85% steep downhill, we really didn’t race the 2nd mile, the girls will work on that for the sectional race here in 3 weeks…..  Full results: http://wisconsinrunner.com/results/2013eagleinvite.php

The JV girls DOMINATED at the Mukwonago Invite. Bringing home another nice trophy and nearly getting a perfect score of 15.  The team scored 17 points thanks to the front pack of Demi, Abby, Katie and Lexi.  Demi and Quinn had outstanding finishes, the strongest by Sabers all season, Abby forced Demi to run nearly her 400 PR to win the race which was exciting to see.   The  other girls finished extremely strong.  The team’s strength is the tenacity they have.  Great job to Jessica, Sierra, Jackie, Alexis, Ashley, Hattie and Anna for moving up over the last mile by nearly 10 spots.
